Teen Yoga Program

Teen Yoga Program

with Heather Harrah

Yoga is not just something we do with our bodies, but its a ancient science designed to help us live with less suffering. I was super lucky to have a Mom who practiced Yoga and saw the value in having me start young. I took my first class when I was 15 years old. It started out as a way for me to breathe with more ease (I had terrible asthama) and cross train for my sports. When I was 18 it was a place I craved going back to when I was stressed, broken hearted, confused, and lost. As so many of us do, I often didn’t know which path to walk down when I was young, but Yoga taught me how to find my direction. It gave me the tools to mend my broken heart with patience and love, and it really helped me understand that I was enough as I was. Yoga led me home to myself again and again and reminds me still that I am worthy.

Raising teens is hard, being a teen in this era is hard. With everything around us trying to pull us away from ourselves, let me show your teens how to turn back towards themselves. I’m really excited to offer this program to our community, if we can teach our kids to love and embrace themselves as they are, stay connected, and root themselves in kindness, imagine the future we could build together.

Each class will be 90 minutes. Roughly 45 minutes of discussion & journaling exercises/prompts and 45 minutes of Yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Details for each class and pricing are listed below:
